Dob: August 2019
Fynn is currently in rehab, learning how to walk.
Originally he was in a multi dog, yard environment. His foot was bitten off by another dog, full front leg amputation was required.
His rescuer brought him into CGSR as he wasn't coping after moving into a home & fights were breaking out with resident dogs.
Fynn's main issue was carrying too much weight, pain in amputation area and using both back legs to bunny hop rather than walk.
His rehab fosters have made him a harness where his pace can be controlled so he utilises both back legs, he gets frustrated at not being able to run everywhere & will redirect.
He now copes well with other dogs but does protect the stump. His fitness level is increasing & muscle is starting to develop.
Fynn will be starting hydrotherapy.
We are looking for a foster home near Spalding so his hydro can commence and he can be assessed in a home environment.
