Izzie
Izzie has come into rescue through no fault of her own, we had a call as the owners could not cope any more and wanted her rehomed asap.
Izzie is here because people still buy from back yard breeders and do not go to meet mum with the pups.
Izzie is with us as a result of being bought as a present for a child 3 days before xmas. The buyers never went to see the parents and Izzie was dropped off at their house.
The owners were not prepared for a dog to come as their garden was not secure for her to go out in, so she has learnt to toilet in the house. House training has already been started by foster family.
When she arrived she weighed less than a bag of sugar and never moved for a week.
They bought her as a German Shepherd Puppy and on the day our volunteer picked her up they still believed she was a German Shepherd puppy.
We were told Izzie was 5 months old, the vets put her age at 10 to 12 weeks. Izzie has started her vaccinations, has been flea'd and wormed and will be microchiped before she goes to a new home. She will go out on a neutering contract, as she is too young to be spayed.
Izzie lived with children and a cat, so would be happy to be homed with either. Izzie enjoys human company and loves to interact with you.
At the moment we have the normal puppy mouthing and she is learning that it is not acceptable.
She appears to be a happy puppy who now is looking for a forever home.
She is in foster at present with 2 older GSD's and enjoys playing with them, but does not always know when to stop.
