Lenny's world has no boundaries. Everything has to be done at 100mph.
Our little hooligan has many faults, but all can be corrected with time, patience & consistency.
His asbos so far:
Jumps up, snatches food, mouths hard - hands & feet (mainly for attention), bonkers putting lead on, bonkers on lead to start, kennel guards, grooming is a game (he will mouth).
His is your typical young male GSD that hasn't had the training & boundaries put in place.
He thinks he can get what he wants by mouthing & jumping. He's learning that isn't how we work!
He also uses those techniques to get away from doing things he doesn't want to do. He's also learning that isn't how we work!
Lennys new family will have to be extremely firm to start, once he has a bit of trust & respect, Lenny does start to listen & calm.
He will settle in his kennel & once he knows people he doesn't guard. He can also be nervous meeting new people.
Adopter requirements:
No cats, no small children, can live with other dogs, preferably an older role model that doesn't get in his face. He will need socialising with the outside world.
Lenny will go out on a neutering contract.

As a reputable rescue our volunteers strive to ensure that everything is done to the highest standard and in the strictest confidentiality to make sure that every dog in our care gets a loving home.
