Our big lad has now found his furever foster.
He’s approx 8 years old and entire.
Max has slight arthritis & early onset HD. He’s suffered ear infections and abscesses in the past. Currently infection free. We’ve started him on Yumove as pain meds not required yet. CGSR will pick up his medical costs.
We would guess he’s not had an easy life previously. Max can get overstimulated with too much attention so a calm home is required.
He doesn’t need daily walks just a large garden/yard to carry his football round all day but he likes a warm comfy bed at nights.
He’s not overly bothered about other dogs but he prefers his own company & will happily follow his humans around.
As Max is a huge Shep & prefers a quiet life we would say no young children.
He’s very affectionate on his terms, he does know several commands but chooses not to use them.
Max is basically a middle aged Shep, very set in his ways and now needing a retirement home.
