Shadow - an urgent appeal
They call me Shadow, I am 15 years young,
I am an entire gentleman just in case you were wondering.
My back end wobbles a bit but I still enjoy a toddle. If you end up walking too far, excuse me if I sit down and want to go back....
My owner is 83 years young and is now in a hospice.
I did wonder why I have been in the kennels for 4 months
It makes me sad that my Mum can no longer look after me. She has been there for me since I was a puppy.
I have to say they spoil me in the kennels and love me ever so much.
I have been a frequent visitor here over the last year while my Mum was poorly.
I love people and lots of fuss and attention. Everybody at the kennels says I talk when I eat treats.........and I nudge people when I want interaction.
Although the kennels look after me very well, I am missing the comforts of home and CGSR have said they will help me find a very special place.
They called it a "Forever Foster For End of Life"… You Cannot adopt me.
At 15 years young I am looking for a quiet life on my own or with a chilled out girl, who must be spayed. I don't like confrontational dogs especially males, they make me very grumpy for a long time.
I am clean in the house and in the kennels. Homechecks will be required. I know we don't know how much longer I have to live but
I don't want to live that time in the kennels.
Unfortunately Shadow never got his forever foster
Within a couple of days a forever foster home had been found but his owner sadly slipped into a coma, it was at this time the greatest bond was sealed by fate when within a few moments of this Shadow passed away naturally, and in a place where he was loved.
